Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, September 28, 1942.  Attended Cornell University, B.A., cum laude, government, 1964; Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Harvard University and Tufts University, M.A., M.A.L.D., law and diplomacy, 1967; Georgetown University Law Center, J.D. 1980.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Legislative District 30 (D), Anne Arundel County, 1999-2003.  Member, Appropriations Committee, 1999-2003; Education and Economic Development Subcommittee, 1999-2003; Oversight Committee on Pensions, 1999-2003; Oversight Committee on Personnel, 1999-2003. Joint Committee on Federal Relations, 2002-2003.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Member, Chesapeake Bay Trust, 2001-; Task Force to Study Lighting Efficiency and Light Pollution in Maryland, 2001-02; Advisory Committee on the Management and Protection of the
