Biography:

Born in Malvern, Arizona, January 22, 1930.  Attended Los Angeles, California public schools.  Died November 16, 2009, in Lanham, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Prince George's County, 1963-70.  Member of Senate, 1971-74.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Marine Corps, 1947-50.  Telephone company public affairs representative.  National consultant on environmental legislation.  Member, Council of State Governments.  Member, Environmental Committee; National Legislative Conference, Intergovernmental Relations Committee; Power Plant Siting Advisory Committee.  Member, New Carrollton Civic Association; Marine Corps League; Telephone Pioneers of America; New Carrollton Boys Club.  Basketball coach.
