Born in Annapolis, January 18, 1919.  Attended Annapolis public schools.  Died March 29, 2013, in Annapolis, Maryland.

General Assembly:
Member of Senate, 1963-65. Republican. Resigned, February 1, 1965.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
County Executive, Anne Arundel County, 1965-1974. Served as Deputy Sheriff of Anne Arundel County for three years and as Sheriff for 12 years. Member, Society of Senates Past.
