Born in New Haven, Connecticut, February 9, 1945. Attended Our Lady of the Valley High School, Orange, New Jersey; Seton Hall University, B.S. (magna cum laude, nursing), 1967; Rutgers University, M.A. (magna cum laude, American history), 1977; University of Maryland School of Law, J.D. (cum laude), 1986. Admitted to the Maryland bar, 1986. Married to James C. Savage; four children.
Associate Judge, Montgomery County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit, March 1, 2002 to October 31, 2013. Retired November 1, 2013. Presiding Judge, Juvenile Drug Court, 2005-13. Chair, Public Defender Regional Advisory Board no. 4 (Allegany, Carroll, Frederick, Garrett, Howard, Montgomery & Washington counties), 2002-09.
