Born in Syracuse, New York, September 19, 1953.  Attended Holy Trinity High School, Washington, DC; Frostburg State College, B.A. (political science, social science, & sociology), 1975; University of Baltimore School of Law, LL.B., 1979. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1980; District of Columbia Bar, 1985.

Associate Judge, Montgomery County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit, December 8, 2006 to May 31, 2017. Retired May 31, 2017. Associate Judge, District Court of Maryland, District 6, Montgomery County, January 31, 1997 to December 8, 2006.
