Born in Baltimore, Maryland, July 9, 1934.  Attended Baltimore public schools, Gilman School; Princeton University, B.A., 1966; University of Maryland Law School, LL.B., 1962; University of Pennsylvania, M.S.W., 1968.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1962.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore City, 1967-71.  Member, Judiciary Committee, 1967-71.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in the U.S. Army, 1956-57.  Member, Baltimore City Welfare Commission, 1963-66.  Member, Grievance Committee, Baltimore City Bar Association, 1965-67.  Member, Executive Committee, Junior Bar Association, Baltimore City, 1965-67.  Associate judge, Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial Circuit, 1996-2013.  Member, Child Support Enforcement Committee, Maryland Judicial Conference, 1999-.  Member, Better Business Bureau; Hearing and Speech Agency.  Director, Provident Bank; Park West Medical Center.
