First Administration Account for David Ridgely:


The first account of John J. Morris, Executor of David Ridgely, late of Baltimore City, deceased.

This Accountant charges himself with the amount of Inventory of personal estate returned to this Court on 10 March 1896 $ 24,382.54

and with the amount of a Legacy given to the deceased by his daughter Mrs. Mary R. Brown, collected from her Executor $ 5000

and with the following rents collected from tenants of property of the deceased, namely from

Received for the use of the State of Maryland of John T. Morris, Executor of David Ridgely, decesed, the sum of One Hundred and eighty eight Dollars and seventy five cents, being a Tax or Duty of Two and One-Half per Centum on $7550. the amount of certain collateral Legacies bequeathed by the Will of the said Deceased, and which are subject to said Tax on Duty for the use of said State, in pursuance of the Public General Laws of Maryland, Article 81, Section 102, to wit:

On $7550.00 Passing to Laura Ridgely et.al. $ 188.75
