FOURTEENTH GENERATION

14156. The Reverend John Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born about 1610. He died in 1648. The Reverend John Gorsuch was the rector of the parish of Walkern in Hertfordshire. Faithful to the Church of England, he was ejected from his living in 1642 by the Puritans and "pursued by Parliamentary officers in 1647, he took refuge in a hatmow and was there smothered." He was married to Anne Lovelace in 1628.

14157. Anne Lovelace^{(114) (179)} was born about 1611. She died in 1652 in Virginia. Anne Lovelace, after her husband's death, settled in Lancaster County, Virginia. She had been left by her father his stock in the East India Company. Children were:

i. Daniel Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born about 1629.
ii. John Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born about 1630. He died perhaps young.
iii. William Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born about 1631.
iv. Katherine Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born before Nov 26 1633.
v. Robert Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born before Nov 19 1635.
7078 vi. Richard Gorsuch.
vii. Anna Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born before Mar 13 1638/39. She died probably young.
viii. Anna Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born before Mar 15 1639/40.
ix. Elizabeth Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born before May 13 1641.
x. Charles Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born before Aug 25 1642.
xi. Lovelace Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born about 1644.
xii. Frances Gorsuch⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ was born about 1647. She died after 1662.
