112. Colonel Moses Lyman was born on Mar 20 1743/44 in Goshen, Connecticut. He died on Sep 29 1829 in Goshen, Connecticut. Moses Lyman was one of the most prominent citizens of Goshen, and one of only two to take out a license for a carriage,

During the Revolution he served in the State Militia with the rank of Colonel. He fought at Saratoga and was rewarded for his services at that battle with the honor of conveying the news of the victory to George Washington. Later, he commanded the troops that guarded Major Andre during his trial for espionage in Tappan, New York.

His house in Goshen, built between 1790 and 1810 is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. He was married to Ruth Collins on Jun 2 1767.

113. Ruth Collins was born on Jul 4 1745. She died on Jun 8 1775. Children were:

child i. Moses Lyman was born on Apr 16 1768. He died on May 22 1844.
child ii. Daniel Lyman was born on Jun 11 1769. He died after 1792.
child iii. Samuel Lyman was born on Apr 23 1770. He died on Apr 28 1842.
