470. Captain Samuel Sherwood was born about 1681. He died on Nov 10 1732 in Stratfield, Connecticut. Samuel Sherwood was an ensign in the Stratfield Trainband in May, 1714, and was appointed captain in May, 1722. He was married to Rebecca Burr on Nov 30 1704.

471. Rebecca Burr (118) was born in 1681 in Probably Fairfield, Connecticut. She died on May 16 1721 in Stratfield, Connecticut. Children were:

child i. John Sherwood was born on Sep 22 1705. He died on Sep 17 1779.
child ii. Nathaniel Sherwood was born on Sep 15 1707. He died on Oct 2 1784.
child iii. Sarah Sherwood was born on Oct 23 1709.

child v. Abigail Sherwood.
child vi. Samuel Sherwood was born before Nov 21 1714.
child vii. Rebecca Sherwood was born on Oct 2 1715. She died in 1749.
child viii. Esther Sherwood was born on Nov 23 1716.
