Harry Benjamin Wolf (1880-1944)

Biography:

Born June 16, 1880, in Baltimore, Maryland. Son of Jacob and Mollie (Furstenberg) Wolf. Attended public schools; University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., 1901. Admitted to the bar, 1901. Married Sara C. Cohen, 1904, in New York City; four sons. Died February 17, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland. Buried at Hebrew Friendship Cemetery in Baltimore.

U.S. House of Represenatives, 3rd District, March 1907 to March 1909. Democrat.

Lawyer, also engaged in real estate business and hotel property investments. Disbarred in November 1922 following criminal conviction; reinstated in 1940. Received pardon from Governor Harry Nice in 1935.
