Biography:

Born September 8, 1816, in Baltimore, Maryland.  Son of Philip and Elizabeth Custis (Teackle) Wallis.  Attended St. Mary's College in Baltimore, A.B., M.A., and LL.D.  Never married; no children.  Died April 11, 1894, in Baltimore, Maryland.  Buried at Greenmount Cemetery, Baltimore, Maryland.
