Attended University of Maryland; Georgetown University Law School. Admitted to the Maryland bar, April 8, 1897. Married to Isabel Arthur. Died September 10, 1934, in Chillum, Prince George's County, Maryland. Buried at Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
