Children: Samuel; George (?-1789); Robert (?-1797); William; Edward (?-1776), a captain in Smallwood's Maryland Regiment, who was killed at the battle of Long Island; and probably John Veazey III (?-1777).

Local Offices: Standard keeper, Cecil County, 1759; Justice, Cecil County, 1764-at least 1774 (quorum, 1773-at least 1774); Chairman, Committee of Observation, Cecil County, 1776.
