LEGISLATIVE SERVICE: Assembly, Kent Isle, 1637/38. Philpott, along with Thomas Bradnox (ca. 1599-1661) and Edward Beckler (?-?), was elected to this Assembly to represent the freemen of Kent Island.
LOCAL OFFICES: justice, Kent Isle, 1637/38; commander of Kent Isle, 1638.
STANDS ON PUBLIC/PRIVATE ISSUES: made early submission to Baltimore authority on Kent Isle.
WEALTH AT DEATH.
DIED: by 1650/51.
LAND: 350 acres on Kent Isle.
