BORN: May 14, 1747, in Benken, Switzerland; son of Jacob Pfau
RESIDED: in Frederick County, 1770-1791; Montgomery County, 1793; Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, 1794; Alexandria, Virginia, 1817.
MARRIED first, on October 16, 1770, Juliana Boyer Lowe. Her brothers were Michael; Jonathan; and Abraham. Her sisters were Catherine, who married (first name unknown) Leatherman; Barbara, who married (first name unknown) Young; Christiana, who married (first name unknown) Koinitz; Mary, who married (first name unknown) Hay; and Susana, who married (first name unknown) Funk.
MARRIED second, on March 28, 1790, Mary Ann Steiner (11/20/1760-1/19/1805)
MARRIED third, in April 1806, Sarah Moody (3/28/1764-8/28/1818)

LOCAL OFFICE: sheriff, Frederick County, elected 1777 (resigned same year).

of Columbia, in office 1812 and 1818.
