~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Command was given to ye Coroner of Kent County in Nor. Court 1698 as allsoe in Janry Court following likewise in June Court 1700 Augt. Sepr. & Novemr. Courts ensuing that he take James Williames alius dictus James Williames of Kent County in ye Province of Maryland Planter if found in his bailiwick & him Safe keepe Soe that he have his body at ye Courts next ensuing to answer unto Elias King Exr. of ye last will & Testamt. of Edward Sweatnam late of Kent County Gentn Decd. who was Exr. of ye last will & Testament of Richard Sweatnam late of Talbott County Afsd. Gentn Decd. of A plea that he render him ye full & just Sume of Two thousand three hundred ninety & Six pounds of good Sound merchantable Leage Tobo & casque which from him he unjustly detaines Att ye returne days of which writts came ye Coroner of Said County & made returne of them vizt. Non est Inventus pr me Thomas Smith Coror 29. day of Nor. Comand was likewise given to ye Coroner of Kent County ye ^ Annoq Domi. 1700 That he take James Williames alius dictus James Williames of Kent County in ye province of Maryland planter if found in his bailiwick & him Safe keepe Soe that he have his body before our Justices at ye next Court to be held for Said County to Answer unto Elias King Exr. of ye last will & Testamt. of Edwd Sweatnam late of Kent County Decd. Gentn who was ye Exr of ye last will & Testamt. of Richard Sweatnam late of Talbott County Gentn Decd. of A plea that he render unto him ye just & full Sume of Two thousand three hundred ninety & Six pounds of good Sound merchantable leafe Tobo & Casque which from him he unjustly Detaines Which next Court being an adjourned Court all actions were contd. & ye writts warrants & other processes were contd in ye Sherf.
