       fully Compleated and done And further it is Appointed that Richard Tull be
       Clark of the said Court for the more full doeing mannageing and Transacting
       the Premisses hereby Comanding you to send unto our Keeper of Our Great seale
       a Copy of all & singular your proceedings of and upon the Premisses attested und.r
       the Hand of the said Clark And for your proceedings herein this shall be your
       warrant Given Att Our City of S.t Maries this First Day of January in the

       Command was given to the Sherriff of Calvert County that he Take Rich.d
       Marsham John Hance & Sarrah Warren Executors of Basill Warren late of
       Calvert County Deceased if they should be found in his Baliwick & them safe
       Keep soe that hee have their bodyes before Our Justices of Oyer & Terminer Especially
       Appointed for the heareing stateing and Determineing of all Affaires Matters
       dealeings Merchandizes and all differences Claymes suites & Demands whatsoever
       between Edward & Dudley Carleton of London Merchants and the said Basill
       Warren deceased at their Court to be held at the City of S.t Maries on the seaventh
       Day of January instant to answer unto the said Edward & Dudley Carleton
       of a plea of Trespass upon the Case
       On which said Seaventh Day of January aforesaid Anno Domini 1688 Came
       the said Sherriff and made Returne of his writt aforesaid in Manner following
       (viz.t)   Cepi P Michaell Taney Sherriff

       The Defendants by Robert Carvile their Attorney moved the Court that the Letter
       of Attorney which was given by the said Edward & Dudley Carleton to M.r Thomas
       Davies might be produced and read in Open Court that the Justices thereof might
       be informed whether the same was a Power sufficient for the said Thomas Davies
       to give a full and Legall discharge on the Acco.tt of the said Edward and Dudley
       Carleton to the said Richard Marsham John Hance & Sarah Warren Executors
       of Basill Warren upon the Determinacon of the Controversies depending the same
       was ordered to be produced and read Containing as followeth
