482 (472 or by his or their Councell Learned in the Law shall be reasonably advised devised or required soe as such Conveyance containe noe other warrante there against the said William ô Donell & the said Morris ô Donell their heires Executors Administrators or assignes In Wittnesse whereof the said William ô Donell hath hereunto putt his hand & fixed his seale the day and yeare first above written Signed sealed & Delivered in the presence of us William ô Douell (sealed William Allin On the back side of the aforesaid his + D Marke [illegible] recited Deed was Endorsed as foll Tho [illegible] Tho Smith The 21.th June 1688 Came Thomas Smith and Marcus Lynch Marcus Lynch and made oath That they ^did^ see the within named William V Gale Heirnan O Dowell signe seale and his act & Deed deliver the within Geo Stanton written Indenture of Release to or to the use of the within Stephan Dieane named Christopher Mason Jas Lynch Jurat Coram me W.m Digges Tho Lynch Recorded July y.e 17.th 1688 Know all men by these Presents That I John Wisman of Calvert County Planter doe freely give and make Over One Browne Heffer and Calfe and all the Increase thereof unto my Godsonne Hugh Hopewell the sonne of Francis Hopewell Deceased the Heffer being marked with a Cropp and Slitt under the Right Eeare and a swallow Fork in the Left Eare the Calfe being marked with a Cropp and slitt under the and a slitt under the Left Eare the said Cattle being to remaine at James Bakers father in Law to the said Hugh Hopewell untill the said Hugh Hopewell shall Come of Age and further the said James Baker doth Covenant Promise to and with mee the aforesaid Giver that the said Cattle shall have the same Looking after as his owne Cattle and that all of them or what shall be found alive shall bee Delivered to the said Hopewell aforesaid or his Heirs Now if the said Hugh Hopewell should Dye before he comes of Age Then the aforesaid Cattle shall fall unto Francis Hopewell Brother to the said Hugh Hopewell aforesaid and Godchild to my Wife Katherin Wisman Now if the said Children should both Dye before they doe come of Age then the said Cattle shall fall to James Baker and his Heirs and this shall bee a sufficient Deed of Guift Given under my Hand and seale this 8.th Day of September 1688 This shall Oblyge me James Baker that the aforesaid Cattle shall have the same Looking after as beforesaid and be delivered according to the Agreement as Witness my hand and seale the Day and Date before mentioned The Testes mark X of Recorded Septemb.r y.e 11.th 1688 John Wisman (sealed John Edwards The Marke The Mark of KW Katherin of W James Wisman Baker (sealed |
