       Know all men by these presents That I Richard Thompson of S.t Maryes County
       in the province aforesaid Marin.r am holden & firmelÿ bound unto John Addison
       of the same Countÿ & province in the full & Just sume of one hundred sixteene pounds
       thirteene shillings & four pence good & Lawfull Moneÿ of England to bee paid to
       the said John Addison or his assignes Covenient in S.t Georges hundred at or upon
       the first daÿ of Janu.ry wich shall be in yeare of our Lord 1686 to the w.ch payem.t
       well & trulÿ to bee made I bind me mÿ heires Ex.rs & adm.rs firmly by these
       presents sealed w.th mÿ seale & dated this 25.th daÿ of Maÿ annoq.r Domini
       1685

       The Condition of this obligation is such that if the above bound Richard
       Thompson his heires Ex.rs or adm.rs or some of them doe & shall well & truely
       paÿ to the said John Addison his heires Ex.rs or assignes at or upon the first
       Day of Januarÿ wich shall bee in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred
       Eight six Convenient in S.t Georges hundred within S.t Maryes County aforesaid
       the full & Just sume of fiftÿ Eight pound sixteene shillings & Eight pence
       good and Lawfull moneÿ of England or in tobbacco allowing for the same in
       Moneÿ according to the then price Courant without anÿ fraud or Covin that
       then this obligation to bee voyd or Else to stand & remaine in full force & vertue
