Senator Curran, from Judicial Proceedings Committee, reported favor-
ably, with amendments, SENATE BILL NO. 1—By the President (Code
Revision Commission):

Subject: "COURTS AND JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS ARTICLE."

AMENDMENTS TO SENATE BILL NO. 1
By the Judicial Proceedings Committee:
Amendment No. 1—

On page CJ, Title 4 of the printed bill, in line 31, after the semicolon,
insert: "to provide for the continuation of certain terms of office;".

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 2—

On page CJ 1-1 of the printed bill, Sec. 1-101(c), in line 24, strike
out "AN APPEAL TAX COURT,".

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 3—

On Rage CJ 1-17 of the printed bill, Sec. l-605(d)(6), in line 16, insert
the words "FOR DESTRUCTION" after the word "PROPOSED"; and
in line 17 strike the number "207" and in lieu thereof substitute the
number "206".

Amendment No. 4—

On page CJ 1-22 of the printed bill, Sec. 1-706(b), in line 13 strike
out the period and insert the following: ", EXCEPT THAT THE EX-
PENSES OF AN APPELLATE JUDGE SHALL NOT BE REIMBURSED
BY A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION."

Amendment No. 5—

On page CJ 1-23, of the printed bill, Sec. 1-707, in line 7, strike out the
number "1972" and in lieu thereof insert the number "1971".

Amendment No. 6—

On page CJ 2-2 of the printed bill, Sec. 2-102(a), in line 5, delete the
comma after the word "PARTY".

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 7—

On page CJ 2-4 of the printed bill, Sec. 2-103, in line 1, strike "RESPON-
SIBILITY FOR DUTIES.", and in lieu thereof insert the words "SUC-
CESSOR RESPONSIBLE FOR UNCOMPLETED DUTIES."; and strike
out all of lines 2 through 5, inclusive.
