Amendment No. 1—

In lines 5 and 6 of the title of the printed bill, strike out in each instance
the word "STATE" and insert in lieu thereof the word "PUBLIC".

Amendment No. 2—

In lines 12 through 14, inclusive, of the title of the printed bill, strike out
everything in line 12 beginning with the word "AUTHORIZING" in line
12 down to and including the word "OFFICIALS," in line 14.

Amendment No. 3—

In line 3 of Amendment No. 1 of the mimeographed set of Committee
amendments, delete "AND IN LINE 14"; and delete all of lines 4 through
6, inclusive, of Amendment No. 1.

Amendment No. 4—

In lines 33 through 43 on page 3 of the printed bill, and in lines 1 and 2
on page 4 of the printed bill, strike out these lines in their entirety; and
strike out in their entirety Amendments No. 14, 15 and 16 of the mimeo-
graphed set of Committee amendments.

Amendment No. 5—

Following lines 32 on page 3 of the printed bill, insert the following:

"PERSONS HOLDING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ENUMER-
ATED AND DESCRIBED OFFICES AND POSITIONS SHALL
FILE THE STATEMENTS REQUIRED BY THIS SUBTITLE IN
THE PRESCRIBED MANNER:

(A)    ALL OFFICIALS ELECTED TO AN OFFICE IN:

(1)    THE STATE GOVERNMENT, ANY COUNTY GOVERN-
MENT IN THIS STATE, OR ANY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
IN THIS STATE; OR

(2)    THE STATE CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF A POLITICAL
PARTY IN THIS STATE;

(B)    MEMBERS OF THE JUDICIARY OF THIS STATE;

(C)    SECRETARY AND DEPUTY SECRETARY OF A PRIN-
CIPAL EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT OF STATE GOVERNMENT;
