The Senate met at 11:00 o'clock A.M.

Prayer by Rev. David M. Evans, First Presbyterian Church, Annapolis,

Md.

Present at roll call the following Senators:

The journal of Wednesday, August 22, 1973 was read and approved.

ORDER

On motion of Senator Snyder it was ordered that Senator Mason be
excused from today's session on account of important business.
