SEC. 3-204. DETERMINATION WITHOUT JURY.

THE COURT SHALL HAKE ANY DETERMINATION PROVIDED
FOR IN THIS SUBTITLE WITHOUT A JURY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
the jury provision in Art. 7, §16. It is
separated from other provisions for the
purpose of emphasis. The only other
changes made are in style.

SEC. 3-20 5. PETITION AND NOTICE.

(A)   PETITION.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED, A PETITION UNDER
THIS SUBTITLE SHALL BE HEARD IN THE MANNER AND UPON
THE NOTICE PROVIDED BY LAW OR RULE OF COURT FOR THE
PROCEDURES WHEN A PETITION IS FILED IN AN ACTION.

(B)   NOTICE.

UNLESS THE PARTIES AGREE OTHERWISE, NOTICE OF   THE

INITIAL PETITION FOR AN ORDER SHALL BE SERVED IN     THE

MANNER PROVIDED BY LAW OR RULE OF COURT FOR   THE
SERVICE OF SUMMONS IN AN ACTION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 7, §15. The first provision dealing
with a form of request to a court is
modified and incorporated in the definition
section. The only other changes made are
in style.

SEC. 3-206. ARBITRATION AGREEMENT; AGREEMENT BETWEEN
EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE.

(A) VALIDITY.

A WRITTEN AGREEMENT TO SUBMIT ANY EXISTING
CONTROVERSY TO ARBITRATION OR A PROVISION IN A WRITTEN
CONTRACT TO SUBMIT TO ARBITRATION ANY CONTROVERSY
ARISING BETWEEN THE PARTIES IN THE FUTURE IS VALID AND
ENFORCEABLE, AND IS IRREVOCABLE, EXCEPT UPON GROUNDS
THAT EXIST AT LAW OR IN EQUITY FOR THE REVOCATION OF A
CONTRACT.
