STATE OF THE UNITED STATES, AND A DULY CERTIFIED COPY
SHALL BE FORWARDED TO THE GOVERNOR OF EACH OF THE
SIGNATORY STATES.
THIS COMPACT SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE WHEN RATIFIED
AND APPROVED AS PROVIDED IN ARTICLE I. ANY
OIL-PRODUCING STATE MAY BECOME A PARTY HERETO BY
AFFIXING ITS SIGNATURE TO A COUNTERPART TO BE
SIMILARLY DEPOSITED, CERTIFIED, AND RATIFIED.
DONE IN THE CITY OF DALLAS, TEXAS, THIS SIXTEENTH
DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1935.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This interstate compact presently
does not appear in the Code although the
enactment of this compact by this State
presently appears as Article 66C, sections
689A to 689C. The compact, in Article
VIII, indicates that it is to expire
September 1, 1937. However, it has been
extended with Congressional sanction and is
still in effect.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE:
The Commission to Revise the Annotated Code, in
compiling Title 6 of the Natural Resources Article,
concluded that certain provisions of present law
originally allocated to Title 6 are obsolete or
duplicated by other provisions of this Article.
Accordingly, these provisions are not embodied in
Title 6. Their proposed treatment is as follows:
