GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE:

In the course of compiling Title 2 of the Courts
Article, the Governor's Commission to Revise the

Annotated Code considered the following sections and

concluded that they were not proper to be included in

the Courts Article. The following treatment is
proposed:

REPEAL

Art. 17, §26 Duplicates Art. 27, §435.

Art. 26, §149 (c) Obsolete.

§67 Obsolete.

Art. 75, §7 Obsolete.
  §8 Obsolete.
  §1 Obsolete.

Art. 87, §9 Obsolete.
  §35 Obsolete.

The following sections providing penal sanctions
against a clerk for various acts are proposed for
repeal as obsolete.

Art. 17, §26, providing that a clerk who submits
a false annual account of fees, under oath, to the
Comptroller is guilty of perjury, is proposed for
repeal. Art. 27, §435, dealing with perjury, covers
this area.

Art. 17, §9 - $100 for delivering a blank writ.

Art. 17, §32 — $200 for neglecting or refusing to
make docket entries.

Art. 17, §40 - $30 for failing to deliver a
statement of costs.

Art. 17, §43 - $15 for misdelivering documents.

Art. 75, §89 — $50 for negligently issuing
process to another county.

TRANSFER

Art. 17, §5 Art. 47.
