OWNER.

5-1219. REPORT ON STATUS OF STATE WILDLAND SYSTEM.

AT THE OPENING OF EACH REGULAR SESSION OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY, THE SECRETARY SHALL SUBMIT A REPORT
TO THE GOVERNOR ON THE STATUS OF THE STATE WILDLAND
SYSTEM, INCLUDING A LIST AND DESCRIPTION OF AREAS IN
THE SYSTEM, REGULATIONS IN EFFECT, AND OTHER PERTINENT
INFORMATION, TOGETHER WITH ANY RECOMMENDATIONS HE MAY
MAKE. THE GOVERNOR SHALL TRANSMIT THE REPORT TO THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

SUBTITLE 13. PENALTIES AND FINES.

5-1301. PENALTIES AND FINES.

(1) PENALTY FOP FIRST OFFENSE.—ANY PERSON WHO
VIOLATES ANY PROVISION OF THIS TITLE IS GUILTY OF A
MISDEMEANOR. UPON CONVICTION IN A COURT OF COMPETENT
JURISDICTION, UNLESS ANOTHER PENALTY IS SPECIFICALLY
PROVIDED ELSEWHERE IN THIS TITLE, THE PERSON IS
SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $500, OR IMPRISONMENT
NOT EXCEEDING THREE MONTHS, OR BOTH, WITH COSTS
IMPOSED IN THE DISCRETION OF THE COURT.

(B) PENALTY FOR SECOND OR SUBSEQUENT

OFFENSE.--ANY PERSON FOUND GUILTY OF A SECOND OR

SUBSEQUENT VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISION OF THIS TITLE IN
A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION, UNLESS ANOTHER
PENALTY IS SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED ELSEWHERE IN THIS
