(E) UPON CONVICTION OF CERTAIN CONDUCT;
PROHIBITION FROM PROCURING LICENSE FOR A SPECIFIED
PERIOD. - IN ADDITION TO ANY PENALTY PROVIDED IN THIS
TITLE, IF ANY PERSON IS CONVICTED OF FISHING WITHOUT A
PROPER ANGLER'S LICENSE IN HIS POSSESSION, OR USING
ANOTHER PERSON'S ANGLER'S LICENSE, THE ANGLER'S
LICENSE SHALL BE CONFISCATED. THE PERSON UPON WHOM
THE ANGLER'S LICENSE IS FOUND AND THE LICENSEE, MAY
NOT PROCURE AN ANGLER'S LICENSE THE FOLLOWING CALENDAR
YEAR. HOWEVER, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION DO NOT
APPLY TO A LICENSEE WHO DOES NOT KNOWINGLY GIVE HIS
LICENSE TO ANOTHER.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is
new language derived from the last sentence
of Article 66C, section 219(g) of the Code.
It is located here for organization
purposes. Reference is made to the Natural
Resources police officer which force was
created pursuant to Chapter 348, Acts of
1972.

Subsection (b) is new language derived from
Article 66C, section 220 of the Code. The
last sentence of the subsection clarifies
the present intent of the statute as to the
time period of the prohibition. New
language is added to protect the innocent
party who has his license stolen.

4-614. TROUT STAMPS.

(A)    RESIDENT REQUIRED TO PURCHASE TROUT STAMPS
TO FISH TROUT; FEES AND PROCEDURE TO OBTAIN. - A
PERSON 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER MAY NOT FISH IN ANY
DESIGNATED TROUT STREAM OF THE STATE WITHOUT FIRST
OBTAINING A TROUT STAMP IN ADDITION TO AN ANGLER'S
LICENSE. THE STAMP SHALL BE OBTAINED FROM ANY
AUTHORIZED AGENT OF THE DEPARTMENT AT A COST OF $2.50.
IF THE RESIDENT APPLICANT IS [[64]] 65 YEARS OF AGE OR
OVER, THE TROUT STAMP COSTS $1. THE DEPARTMENT MAY
DESIGNATE A PERSON ENGAGED IN A RETAIL BUSINESS,
EXCEPT WHERE DISTILLED SPIRITS ARE SOLD FOR
CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES, TO SELL THE TROUT STAMP
AS AN AGENT UNDER THE DEPARTMENT'S CONTROL AND
SUPERVISION. THE AGENT SHALL RETAIN THE SUM OF 10
CENTS AS COMPENSATION FOR EVERY STAMP HE ISSUES AND
SELLS.

(B)    WAIVER OF TROUT STAMP REQUIREMENTS FOR
RESIDENTS ON LEAVE FROM ARMED SERVICES. - ANY RESIDENT
