The reference indicating race on the
license application is proposed for
deletion- The Department of Natural
Resources no longer requests this
information of the applicant. Also the
reference to January 1, 1969 date is
proposed for deletion as unnecessary
because every license expires at the end of
the calender year in which it is issued.
Subsection (h) presently appears as section
219(e). Relevant provisions of Article
66c, section 221(a) of the Code are added
to avoid duplication.
Subsection (i) presently appears as the
last sentence of section 219(e).
Subsection (j) presently appears as section
219{g) .
The last clause authorizing an enforcement
officer to confiscate the license is
proposed for deletion. This provision is
covered in proposed section 4—613.
Subsections (d), (i), and (j) of section
219 are made new proposed sections
elsewhere in this subtitle.
The only other changes made are in style.

A CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT, OR AGENT, OF A
COUNTY BORDERING ON THE POTOMAC RIVER ABOVE LITTLE
FALLS MAY ISSUE A SPECIAL NONRESIDENT ANGLER'S LICENSE
TO ANY RESIDENT OF WEST VIRGINIA, DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA, OR VIRGINIA. THE LICENSE IS VALID ONLY FOR
A RESIDENT OF ONE OF THESE STATES FOR FISHING IN THE
POTOMAC RIVER PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SUBTITLE.
