PURIFICATION, FINAL DISPOSAL, AND TIME PATTERN OF
DISCHARGE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived from Article 33B, section 7 (a) of
the Code, as amended by Chapter 523, Acts
of 1972-

(E) STATE FUNDS TO BE PAID TO SERVICE UPON
FAILURE OF MUNICIPALITY TO PAY FOR PROJECT.-IF A
MUNICIPALITY FAILS TO PAY THE SERVICE FOR PROJECTS
PROVIDED PURSUANT TO THIS SUBTITLE WITHIN 60 DAYS OF
THE DUE DATE, AS ESTABLISHED BY CONTRACT, ALL STATE
FUNDS, OR THAT PORTION OF THEM REQUIRED, RELATING TO
THE INCOME TAX, THE TAX ON RACING, THE RECORDATION
TAX, THE TAX ON AMUSEMENTS AND THE LICENSE TAX
THEREAFTER TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE MUNICIPALITY SHALL
BE PAID BY THE COMPTROLLER OF MARYLAND DIRECTLY TO THE
SERVICE UNTIL THE SERVICE IS REIMBURSED.

derived from Article 33B, section 7(b) of
the Code.

(C)    UNPAID CHARGES TO BE LIEN AGAINST PROPERTY
UPON PERSON FAILING TO PAY FOR PROJECTS. - IF A PERSON
FAILS TO PAY THE SERVICE FOR PROJECTS PROVIDED BY THIS
SUBTITLE WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THE DUE DATE, AS
ESTABLISHED BY CONTRACT, THE UNPAID BILL BECOMES A
LIEN AGAINST THE PROPERTY SERVED, IF IT IS RECORDED
AND INDEXED AS PROVIDED IN THIS SUBTITLE, AND SHALL BE
REFERRED TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR COLLECTION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new   language

derived from Article 33B, section      7(c) of

the Code. See the revisor's      note to
section 3—125.

(D)   FEE MAY BE CHARGED BY COUNTY FOR FINAL
DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTES. - THE GOVERNING BODY OF ANY
COUNTY MAY CHARGE THE SERVICE A FEE NOT TO EXCEED 25
CENTS PER TON FOR FINAL DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE AT ANY
SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL PROJECT LOCATED IN THAT COUNTY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived from Article 33B, section 7(d) of
the Code. The reference to "Baltimore
City" is proposed for deletion in light of
the definition of the word "county" in
section 3—101(c) of this subtitle.
