NATURAL RESOURCES - TITLE 1
GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE

The Commission to Revise the Annotated Code, in
compiling Title 1 of the Natural Resources Article,
concluded that certain provisions of present law
originally allocated to Title 1 are obsolete or
duplicated by other provisions of this Article.
Accordingly, these provisions are not embodied in
Title 1. Their proposed treatment is as follows:

1-301. DEFINITIONS.

(A)   IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE
THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

(B)     "ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS REPORT" MEANS A
REPORT ON EACH PROPOSED STATE ACTION SIGNIFICANTLY
AFFECTING THE ENVIRONMENT, NATURAL AS WELL AS
SOCIO-ECONOMIC.

(C)   "PROPOSED STATE ACTION" MEANS REQUESTS FOR
LEGISLATIVE APPROPRIATIONS OR OTHER LEGISLATIVE
ACTIONS THAT WILL ALTER THE QUALITY OF THE AIR, LAND,
OR WATER RESOURCES.
