(B) EACH CANDIDATE FOR NOMINATION FOR, OR

ELECTION TOM AN ELECTED JUDGESHIP SHALL FILE WITH THE

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS, AT OR

BEFORE THE SAME TIME THAT PERSON'S CERTIFICATE OF

CANDIDACY IS FILED, THE SAME STATEMENT OF FINANCIAL

INTERESTS AS IS REQUIRED OF THE JUDGES OF THE SEVERAL

COURTS OF THE STATE PURSUANT TO THIS SECTION OR THE

CALENDAR YEAR IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE YEAR IN WHICH

THE CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY IS FILED. THE STATE

ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS SHALL NOT ACCEPT

ANY CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY OR CERTIFICATE OF

NOMINATION UNLESS THE REQUIRED STATEMENT] HAS BEEN

FILED. WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF THE RECEIPT OF A

STATEMENT BY THE STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF

ELECTION LAWS, THE STATE ADMINISTRATOR OF ELECTION

LAWS__SHALL__FORWARD__THE__STATEMENT__TO__THE___PERSON

DESIGNATED__BY__THE__COURT__OF__APPEALS TO RECEIVE THE

STATEMENTS REQUIRED TO BE FILED BY JUDGES PURSUANT TO
THIS SECTION.

[[ 28-10]] 29-10. LOCAL AUTHORITY.

EACH COUNTY OF THE STATE [[AND]], THE CITY OF

BALTIMORE [[IS]] AND EACH OF THE INCORPORATED

MUNICIPALITIES__ARE HEREBY [[EMPOWERED]] DIRECTED TO

ENACT PUBLIC FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS WITH
RESPECT TO ANY LOCAL OFFICIALS OF [[THE COUNTY OR OF

ANY MUNICIPALITY WITHIN THE COUNTY]] THEIR RESPECTIVE

JURISDICTIONS, INCLUDING CANDIDATES FOR ELECTION TO
SUCH OFFICES , THE STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS OF WHICH

MUST BE SUBSTANTIALLY THOSE REQUIRED BY THIS SUBTITLE

FOR STATE OFFICIALS AND CANDIDATES. [[IN ADDITION,

THIS AUTHORIZATION SHALL EXTEND TO AND INCLUDE THE
OFFICES OF THE VARIOUS STATE'S ATTORNEYS, SHERIFFS,
REGISTERS OF WILLS AND CLERKS OF THE CIRCUIT COURTS
AND SUPREME BENCH OF BALTIMORE CITY.]] FOR THE
PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, THE EXPRESS POWERS CONTAINED
AND ENUMERATED IN ARTICLES 23A, 25A AND 25B OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND AND IN THE CHARTER OF THE
CITY OF BALTIMORE ARE INTENDED AND SHALL BE DEEMED TO
INCORPORATE AND INCLUDE THE POWER AND AUTHORITY
CONTAINED IN THIS SECTION.

THE GOVERNOR MAY, BY EXECUTIVE ORDER, REQUIRE
PERSONS HOLDING STATE POSITIONS COMPENSATED IN WHOLE
OR IN PAST BY PUBLIC FUNDS AND NON-COMPENSATED
GUBERNATORIAL APPOINTEES, OTHER THAN THE OFFICERS AND
JUDGES COVERED UNDER SECTIONS 29-3 AND 29-9. TO

29-11.
