(B)   IT SHALL BE THE FUNCTION OF THE PUBLIC
DISCLOSURE ADVISORY BOARD:

(1)   TO RECOMMEND TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE,
FROM TIME TO TIME, SUCH FORMS AS IT MAY DEEM ADVISABLE
FOR USE IN THE FILING OF THE STATEMENTS REQUIRED BY
THIS SUBTITLE, WITH INITIAL RECOMMENDATIONS TO BE MADE
NO LATER THAN THE 1ST DAY OF DECEMBER IMMEDIATELY
FOLLOWING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS SUBTITLE;

(2)   TO INVESTIGATE COMPLAINTS OF ALLEGED
VIOLATIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE;

(3)   TO REPORT VIOLATIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE,
WITH APPROPRIATE NOTICE THEREOF TO . THE PERSON SO
CHARGED, TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL;

(4)   TO ISSUE, UPON WRITTEN REQUEST OF ANY
PERSON REQUIRED TO FILE A STATEMENT UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE, ADVISORY OPINIONS WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER
IN WHICH SUCH PERSON IS INVOLVED CONCERNING THE
APPLICABILITY OF THIS SUBTITLE, BUT NO SUCH REQUEST,
INVESTIGATION MADE PURSUANT THERETO, OR OPINION SHALL
BE MADE PUBLIC WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE PERSON
REQUESTING THE OPINION;

(5)   TO ISSUE AND PUBLISH, UPON WRITTEN
REQUEST OF ANY OTHER PERSON, SUCH ADVISORY OPINIONS ON
THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SUBTITLE AS IT MAY DEEM
APPROPRIATE; AND

(6)   TO ADOPT SUCH PROCEDURES AS MAY BE
NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT ITS FUNCTIONS IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.

(C)   THE BOARD SHALL MEET AND CONSIDER A REQUEST

FOR AN ADVISORY OPINION MADE PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION

(B)(4) WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF THE

REQUEST.

[[28-8]] 29-8. ENFORCEMENT.

(A) UPON RECEIVING A REPORT OF VIOLATION OF THIS
SUBTITLE FROM THE FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE ADVISORY BOARD,
OR UPON RECEIVING A COMPLAINT, DEEMED BY THE ATTORNEY
GENERAL TO BE JUSTIFIED, OF SUCH VIOLATION FROM ANY
OTHER SOURCE, THE ATTORNEY GENERAL SHALL FILE A
PETITION IN THE APPROPRIATE CIRCUIT COURT FOR A
MANDATORY INJUNCTION, ORDERING THE VIOLATOR TO TAKE
SUCH ACTIONS AS WILL CORE THE VIOLATION. THE ATTORNEY
GENERAL SHALL GIVE THE ALLEGED VIOLATOR NOTICE OF HIS
