350                                       LAWS OF MARYLAND                             [Ch. 2

v_.____Farmer's National Bank, 263 Md. 696

(1971) .

The only changes made are in style.
SUBTITLE 7. DISTRICT COURT.
SEC. 11-701. POWER OF COURT OVER JUDGMENT.

THE DISTRICT COURT HAS THE SAME POWER TO ENFORCE,
RENEW, REVISE, STAY, SET ASIDE, OR CONTROL ITS
JUDGMENTS AND DECREES AS ANY OTHER COURT OF RECORD IN
THE STATE.

SEC. 11-702. ISSUANCE OF BLANK EXECUTION NOT ALLOWED.

A JUDGE OF THE DISTRICT COURT MAY NOT ISSUE A
BLANK EXECUTION ON A JUDGMENT.

SEC. 11-703. ENTRY OF JUDGMENT.

A JUDGMENT OF THE DISTRICT COURT SHALL BE ENTERED
WITHIN THREE DAYS OF RENDITION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: These sections are new language
derived from Art. 26, § 150(b) and (c) , as
amended by Ch. 67, S.B. 432, Acts of 1973.

The portion of Art. 26, § 150(b) which
provides for a conveyance of the defendant's
interest in land to a purchaser following the
sale under an attachment of fieri facias
issued out of the District Court is proposed
for deletion. It is covered by Art. 21, §
14-103(a).

The provisions dealing with interest on a
judgment, time to enforce a judgment,
revival, and death of the plaintiff and
defendant are proposed for repeal because
they are covered by Md. District Rule 642.

In §11—701 powers of the court are enumerated
for the purpose of clarity. Also, the
enumeration is consistent with Maryland Rules
and Maryland District Rules.

For renewal of a judgment, see Md. Rule 624
and Md. District Rule 624.

For revisory power of court over judgment.
