THIS SUBTITLE SHALL BE SO CONSTRUED AS TO
EFFECTUATE ITS GENERAL PURPOSE TO MAKE UNIFORM THE LAW
OF THOSE STATES WHICH ENACT IT.

SEC. 10-709. TITLE OF ACT.

THIS SUBTITLE MAY BE CITED AS THE UNIFORM FOREIGN
MONEY-JUDGMENTS RECOGNITION ACT.

is enacted by four states according to the
latest pocket part to 9B U.L.A. 16.

SUBTITLE 8. SIMULTANEOUS DEATH.

SEC. 10-801. NO EVIDENCE OF SURVIVORSHIP.

WHERE TITLE TO PROPERTY OR ITS DEVOLUTION DEPENDS
UPON PRIORITY OF DEATH AND THERE IS NO SUFFICIENT
EVIDENCE THAT THE PERSONS HAVE DIED OTHERWISE THAN
SIMULTANEOUSLY, THE PROPERTY OF EACH PERSON SHALL BE
DISPOSED OF AS IF HE HAD SURVIVED, EXCEPT AS PROVIDED
OTHERWISE IN THIS SUBTITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 35, §83. It is the first section of the
Uniform Simultaneous Death Act, 9C U.L.A.
(1940). The remainder of the Act follows
through §10—807. The only changes made are
in style.
