PROCEEDING AS MAY BE EMPLOYED FOR THE PURPOSE OF
TAKING TESTIMONY IN PROCEEDINGS PENDING IN THIS STATE.

Uniform Foreign Deposition Act, 9B U.L.A. 62.
The only changes made are in style.

SEC. 9-402. UNIFORMITY OF INTERPRETATION.

THIS ACT SHALL BE SO INTERPRETED AND CONSTRUED AS
TO EFFECTUATE ITS GENERAL PURPOSES TO MAKE UNIFORM THE
LAW OF THOSE STATES WHICH ENACT IT.

SEC. 9-403. SHORT TITLE.

THIS ACT MAY BE CITED AS THE UNIFORM FOREIGN
DEPOSITIONS ACT.

are omitted. The Uniform Foreign Depositions
Act has been adopted in 20 states and
territories.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE

The Commission to Revise the Annotated Code, in
compiling Title 9 of the courts and Judicial
Proceedings Article, concluded that certain provisions
of present law originally allocated to Title 9 are
repetitious, obsolete, or more properly allocable
elsewhere. Accordingly, these provisions are not
embodied in Title 9. Their proposed treatment is as
follows:
