ALLOWANCE; NO OVERTIME.

(22)    WASHINGTON COUNTY - $15; MILEAGE
ALLOWANCE AS SET BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

(23)    WICOMICO COUNTY - $15; NO MILEAGE
ALLOWANCE.

(24)   WORCESTER COUNTY - $15; NO MILEAGE
ALLOWANCE.

(C)   LEVY FOP PAYMENTS.

THE GOVERNMENT OF EACH COUNTY SHALL LEVY EACH YEAR
A SUM SUFFICIENT TO PAY JURORS THE AMOUNTS DUE THEM.

(D)   COMPENSATION NOT TO BE REDUCED.

A JUROR'S COMPENSATION OR EXPENSE MONEY MAY NOT BE
LESS THAN THE AMOUNT PROVIDED ON JULY 1, 1969, BY THE
COUNTY IN WHICH THE JUROR SERVES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Art. 51, §§12 and 19, as amended
by Ch. 13, S.B. 616, Acts of 1973 (dealing
with compensation), are proposed for repeal.
They are combined and appear in this section
as new language in order to form the basis of
this section.

These sections have been completely revised
in an attempt to clarify the amount of
compensation jurors are entitled to receive.
