24                                             LAWS OF MARYLAND                                [Ch. 2

BE A COURT FACILITY PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN EACH OF THE
FOLLOWING AREAS OF THAT DISTRICT, AND AT LEAST ONE
JUDGE SHALL SIT REGULARLY IN EACH LOCATION:

(1)   AREA 1 - ELECTION DISTRICTS 1 AND 13

(2)   AREA 2 - ELECTION DISTRICTS 2 AND 3

(3)   AREA 3 - ELECTION DISTRICTS 8 AND 9

(4)   AREA 4 - ELECTION DISTRICTS 14 AND 15

(5)   AREA 5 - ELECTION DISTRICT 12

REVISOR'S NOTE: Sec. 1-603(a) is based on Art.
26, §141(c), omitting only language dealing
with the general authority of the chief
judge. This language is picked up in
§1-605.

Subsection (b) is Art. 26, §14 1(a), as
amended by Ch. 57, S.B. 181, Acts of 1973.
The only changes made are in style.

Subsection (c) is §141(b).

Subsection (d) is Art. 26, §142, as amended
by Chs. 44 and 112, Acts of 1972 (two
identical bills).

SEC. 1-604. SPECIAL DUTIES IN DISTRICT 6.

TWO OF THE JUDGES IN DISTRICT 6 SHALL HAVE AS
THEIR PRIMARY DUTY AND, IF MADE NECESSARY BY THE CASE
LOAD THEIR EXCLUSIVE DUTY, THE HANDLING OF JUVENILE
CAUSES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language
derived from Art. 26, §141(d). Reference
to the determination to be made by the
chief judge is omitted since his authority
to administer the court is stated
elsewhere. Constitutional provisions
regarding juvenile jurisdiction in
Montgomery County (Dist. 6) appear in Art.
IV, §41A, and statutory provisions in Title
4 of this Article.
