SEC. 4-528. SUPERVISOR OF SOCIAL WORK.

THERE IS A SUPERVISOR OF SOCIAL WORK FOR
MONTGOMERY COUNTY WHO IS APPOINTED BY THE CHIEF JUDGE
OF THE DISTRICT COURT UPON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
ADMINISTRATIVE JUDGE OF THE SIXTH DISTRICT. THE
SUPERVISOR OF SOCIAL WORK IS IN CHARGE OF ALL THE
SOCIAL WORK OF THE COURT, AND IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE
MONTGOMERY COUNTY JUVENILE COURT COMMITTEE AND OTHER
SOCIAL AGENCIES OF THE COUNTY AND THE STATE, SHALL
STUDY THE SOURCES OF DELINQUENCY AND ASSIST IN
DEVELOPING AND [[COORDINATING]] CORRELATING
COMMUNITY-WIDE PLANS FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT
OF DELINQUENCY. THE SUPERVISOR OF SOCIAL WORK SHALL
PERFORM OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS ARE PRESCRIBED BY THE
CHIEF JUDGE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 26, §81. The word "correlating" was
changed to "coordinating". Correlate means
to establish a casual connection or a
correspondence. Coordinate means to
harmonize. The latter is probably intended
here. The only other changes made are in
style.

SEC. 4-529. ANNUAL REPORT.

BEFORE APRIL SECOND OF EACH YEAR, THE JUDGES
SHALL PREPARE AN ANNUAL REPORT OF THE PREVIOUS
CALENDAR YEAR, WHICH SHALL INCLUDE STATISTICS
INDICATING THE NUMBER AND TYPES OF CASES REFERRED TO
THE COURT DURING THE PERIOD AND THE DISPOSITION OF
THOSE CASES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 26, §77. The only changes made are in
style.

SEC. 4-530. PENALTIES.

(A)    ANY PERSON WHO WILLFULLY FAILS TO PAY A SUM
ORDERED BY THE COURT UNDER §4-519 MAY BE PROCEEDED
AGAINST AS PROVIDED BY LAW IN CASES OF DESERTION OR
FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUBSISTENCE.

(B)   ANY ADULT CONVICTED UNDER §4-526 OF BRINGING
A CHILD WITHIN THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE IS
SUBJECT TO A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $500 OR
