SEC. 10-603. COOPERATION WITH UNITED STATES
GOVERNMENT.

THE SECRETARY SHALL COOPERATE WITH THE UNITED
STATES GOVERNMENT AND ANY FEDERAL AGENCY AND MAY
DESIGNATE ANY COMPETENT PERSON WHO HAS BEEN LICENSED
FOR WORK BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF
AGRICULTURE, TO EXAMINE, CLASSIFY, AND CERTIFY ANY
FARM PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES AND
REGULATIONS IT ADOPTS AND AT THE PLACES THE VOLUME OF
BUSINESS WARRANTS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66C, §67 of the Code. The present
reference to "subdivision" is proposed for
deletion and "federal agency" is added
because federal agency is a more accurate
phrase. The only other changes made are in
style.

SEC. 10-604. DISPOSITION OF MONEY COLLECTED.

ALL FEES AND MONEY COLLECTED BY THE SECRETARY
UNDER THIS SUBTITLE SHALL BE DEPOSITED WITH THE STATE
TREASURER FOR THE USE OF THE SECRETARY IN CARRYING OUT
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE. ANY UNEXPENDED FUNDS

SHALL REVERT TO THE GENERAL FUNDS OF THE STATE AT__THE

END OF THE FISCAL YEAR.

REVISOR'S NOTE; This section presently appears as
Art. 66C, §70 of the Code. The second
sentence of this section is added by
amendment to indicate explicitly that any
funds unexpended at the end of the fiscal
year shall revert to the general funds of the
State. The only changes made are in style.

SEC. 10-605. APPEAL OF ASSIGNED GRADE CLASSIFICATION.

ANY PERSON PECUNIARILY INTERESTED IN ANY FARM
PRODUCT MAY APPEAL THE ASSIGNED GRADE CLASSIFICATION
TO THE SECRETARY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES AND
REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY THE SECRETARY. WHEN FILING THE
APPEAL, THE APPELLANT SHALL DEPOSIT A SUM DOUBLE THE
FEE CHARGED BY THE SECRETARY, WHICH SHALL BE REFUNDED
TO THE APPELLANT, IF THE ASSIGNED GRADE CLASSIFICATION
