GOVERNING BODY AND SERVING AT THE PLEASURE OF THE
COUNTY GOVERNING BODY;

(2)   ONE BY THE COMMITTEE FROM A LIST OF
THREE DISTRICT RESIDENTS SUBMITTED BY THE COUNTY FARM
BUREAU;

(3)   ONE BY THE COMMITTEE FROM A LIST OF
THREE DISTRICT RESIDENTS SUBMITTED BY THE COUNTY
EXTENSION SERVICE; AND

(4)    TWO BY THE COMMITTEE FROM AMONG
RESIDENTS OF THE DISTRICT.

(5)        IN MAKING THE APPOINTMENTS,
CONSIDERATION SHALL BE GIVEN TO REPRESENTATION FROM
FARMING, FORESTRY, WILDLIFE, AND URBAN INTERESTS WHERE
APPROPRIATE.

(D)   TENURE; VACANCIES.

THE TERM OF OFFICE OF EACH COMMITTEE APPOINTED
MEMBER IS FOUR YEARS. EACH SUPERVISOR SHALL HOLD
OFFICE UNTIL HIS SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED AND QUALIFIES.
VACANCIES SHALL BE FILLED FOR ANY UNEXPIRED TERM BY
APPOINTMENTS MADE IN THE SAME MANNER AS FOR THE FULL
TERM.

(E)   REMOVAL.

THE COMMITTEE, UPON NOTICE AND HEARING, MAY REMOVE
ANY SUPERVISOR FROM OFFICE FOR NEGLECT OF DUTY OR
MALFEASANCE IN OFFICE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a), (c), and (d) are
new language derived from Art. 66C, §93 of
the Code. The first two sentences of the
third paragraph of §93 are omitted here
because they are obsolete.

Subsection (b) is new language derived from
Art. 66C, §94(a) of the Code.

In subsection (c) (1) , this provision is
revised to require the appointee to be a
district resident. Former §93, repealed by
Ch. 719, Acts of 1970, contained this
requirement which, was inadvertently omitted
in the bill enacting present §93, according
to the department. Language is added to
sub—paragraph (2) to provide that the list is
