GUARDIAN, OR CUSTODIAN MAY BE EXAMINED AT A SUITABLE
PLACE BY A PHYSICIAN, PSYCHIATRIST, PSYCHOLOGIST, OR
OTHER PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED PERSON.

SEC. 3-828. EMERGENCY MEDICAL OR SURGICAL TREATMENT.

AT ANY STAGE OF A PROCEEDING UNDER THIS SUBTITLE,
THE COURT MAY ORDER EMERGENCY MEDICAL OR SURGICAL
TREATMENT OF A CHILD ALLEGED TO BE SUFFERING FROM A
PHYSICAL CONDITION OR ILLNESS WHICH, IN THE OPINION OF
A LICENSED PHYSICIAN, REQUIRES IMMEDIATE TREATMENT,
AND IF PARENTS, GUARDIAN, OR OTHER CUSTODIAN ARE NOT
AVAILABLE OR, WITHOUT GOOD CAUSE, REFUSE TO CONSENT TO
THE TREATMENT.

SEC. 3-829. ADJUDICATORY HEARING:; DISPOSITION
HEARING.

(A) ADJUDICATORY HEARING.

AFTER A PETITION HAS BEEN FILED AND UNLESS
JURISDICTION HAS BEEN WAIVED, THE COURT SHALL HOLD AN
ADJUDICATORY HEARING.

(B) DISPOSITION HEARING.

AFTER THE ADJUDICATION, IF THE ALLEGATIONS ARE
SUSTAINED, THE COURT SHALL HOLD A DISPOSITION HEARING.
