SEC. 4-309. FAILURE OR REFUSAL TO MAKE PROPER REPORTS
PROHIBITED.
A PERSON MAY NOT FAIL OR REFUSE TO MAKE REQUIRED
REPORTS OR REPORT FALSELY OR WITH INTENT TO DECEIVE.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
the first provision of Art. 48, §166B of
the Code. The present provision
prescribing the penalty for a person who
violates "this subtitle, or any rule or
regulation made thereunder" is proposed
for deletion in light of the uniform
penalty provision of this Article.
Instead, this section prohibits false or
deceptive reports. A violation of this
section would be punishable under the
uniform penalty provision. Likewise, the
last provision is proposed for deletion
because it duplicates the provisions of the
uniform penalty provision of this Article.
The provision prohibiting interference with
the enforcement of this subtitle duplicates
§2-104.
The only other changes made are in style.
