ACCESS AT ANY REASONABLE TIME, TO THE PREMISES,
FACILITIES, INVENTORY, OR RECORDS OF ANY ESTABLISHMENT
AT WHICH LIVESTOCK ARE SLAUGHTERED, OR THE CARCASSES,
PARTS OF THEM, OR MEAT FOOD PRODUCTS ARE PREPARED, OR
REFUSING TO PERMIT THE SECRETARY TO COPY ANY RECORDS
REQUIRED BY §4-120;

(18)    ASSAULTING, RESISTING, OPPOSING,
IMPEDING, INTIMIDATING, OR INTERFERING WITH ANY PERSON
WHILE ENGAGED IN, OR ON ACCOUNT OF, THE PERFORMANCE OF
HIS OFFICIAL DUTIES UNDER THIS SUBTITLE;

(19)  GIVING OR PAYING ANYTHING OF VALUE TO
ANY PERSON EMPLOYED TO PERFORM ANY OFFICIAL DUTIES
UNDER THIS SUBTITLE; OR

(20)  RECEIVING BY ANY PERSON, EMPLOYED TO
PERFORM ANY OFFICIAL DUTIES UNDER THIS SUBTITLE,
ANYTHING OF VALUE, GIVEN OR PAID BY ANY PERSON, TO
INFLUENCE HIS OFFICIAL ACTIONS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66C, §470-I of the Code. The new
language set forth in paragraph (3) is
derived from §470-I (c), which is proposed
for deletion here. In paragraph (4), the
present reference to "horses, mules, or
other equines" is proposed for deletion and
"equines" is substituted therefor because
horses and mules are equines. Paragraphs
(6) and (7) are new language derived from
Art. 66C, §470-I(r), as enacted by Ch. 312,
Acts of 1973. The present provisions
requiring the State's attorney to enforce
this section is proposed for deletion
because it duplicates §4-128. Paragraph
(5) is new language derived from the second
sentence of Art. 66C, §470J(a) and set
forth here for organizational purposes.
The vert "buy" is added to conform to the
Federal Meat Inspection Act, 21, U.S.C.
§641. In paragraph (17), the present
reference to "duly authorized
representative of the Board" is proposed
for deletion because all inspections are in
fact performed by the Secretary and bis
employees.

Art. 66c, §470-I(q) is proposed for
deletion because it is superfluous. The
uniform penalty provision of this title
