1470 LAWS OF MARYLAND [Ch. 6
In subsection (b) new language is added to
indicate at the outset that the doctor of
medicine or veterinarian must submit a
report to the vendor or distributor. The
present reference to a veterinarian who has
been admitted to practice in the State is
proposed for deletion and the phrase
"licensed to practice" is substituted to
better express the legislative intent.
The present reference to the director of
the laboratory is proposed for deletion and
a reference to the Secretary is substituted
therefor. See the revisor's note to
§3-203. The specific references to
"tuberculosis" and "glanders" are proposed
for deletion because they are unnecessary.
This subtitle regulates all biological
products used for immunizations against
livestock diseases.
In subsection (c), the last phrase is
proposed for deletion because the
subsection is revised to require the report
of "an identifying description" of each
animal. This language, which substitutes
an objective test, is added because the
department receives the reports and not the
State Veterinarian.
The only other changes made are in style.
SEC. 3-212. SALE OF MILK FROM TREATED ANIMALS.

PRODUCT PROM ANY ANIMAL TREATED WITH ANY BIOLOGICAL
PRODUCT CONTAINING LIVING ORGANISMS WITHIN SIX MONTHS
OF THE DATE OF THE LAST DOSE OR INJECTION, EXCEPT WITH
THE WRITTEN CONSENT OF AND UNDER [[SUCH]] THE
CONDITIONS AS THE SECRETARY DETERMINES.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66C, §456 of the Code. The only
changes made are in style.
SEC. 3-213. TREATING ANIMALS TO PREVENT REACTION
