a bond bill from the Code to the Session Laws.
The substance of the provision is not changed in
any way.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
5(V) of Article 25A, Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Repl. Vol. , as added to or amended by legislation
enacted at the 1973 regular session of the General
Assembly), title "Chartered Counties of Maryland",
subtitle "Express Powers", Section 221A(a) of Article
41 of the Code (1971 Repl. Vol. and 1972 Supplement,
as added to or amended by legislation enacted at the
1973 regular session of the General Assembly), title
"Governor — Executive and Administrative Departments",
subtitle, "The Department of Licensing and
Regulation", and Section 277(a) of Article 56 of the
Code (1972 Repl. Vol. and 1972 Supplement, as added to
or amended by legislation enacted at the 1973 regular
session of the General Assembly), title "Licenses",
subtitle "Landscape Architects", be and each is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as
follows:

Article 25A

(V) Recreation

To enact local laws providing for the development
and administration of a comprehensive recreational
program including the construction, equipment and use
of park, community center, and recreational buildings
and facilities, the acquisition of sites therefor, and
the furnishing of recreational and other municipal
services in connection therewith; AND TO EXERCISE ANY
POWER OR AUTHORITY CONFERRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF
ARTICLE 25 OF THIS CODE, IN THE SUBTITLE "PUBLIC
RECREATION AND PARKS".

REVISOR'S NOTE: Section 3 of this bill transfers
statutes dealing with "Public Recreation
and Parks" from Article 66C to Article 25.
The preceding amendment to Article 25A
makes clear the continuing application of
these provisions to chartered counties. A
new section of Article 23A, contained in
Section 5 of this Bill, does the same with
