SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
(a) Sections 409A-409U, inclusive, of Article
66C, Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Repl. Vol. and
1972 Supplement, as added to or amended by legislation
enacted at the 1973 regular session of the General
Assembly), title "Natural Resources", subtitle
"Registered Professional Foresters", he and they are
hereby recodified and renumbered as Sections 299—319,
inclusive, of Article 56 of the Code (1972 Repl- Vol.
and 1972 Supplement, as added to or amended by
legislation enacted at the 1973 regular session of the
General Assembly), title "Licenses", subtitle
"Registered Professional Foresters", to follow
immediately after Section 298 thereof; and
(b) Section 410A and Sections [[410A]] 410C -
410—I, inclusive, of Article 66C, Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Repl. Vol. and 1972 Supplement, as
added to or amended by legislation enacted at the 1973
regular session of the General Assembly), title
"Natural Resources", subtitle "Public Recreation and
Parks", be and they are hereby recodified and
renumbered as Section 222 and Sections [[222]] 224 -
230, inclusive, of Article 25 of the Code (1973 Repl.
Vol., as added to or amended by legislation enacted at
the 1973 regular session of the General Assembly),
title "County Commissioners", subtitle "Public
Recreation and Parks", to follow immediately after
Section 221 thereof.
REVISOR'S NOTE: Article 66C, Sections 409A-409U are
proposed for transfer to Article 56. Those
provisions deal with the licensing of
professional registered foresters and are not
administered by the Department of Natural
Resources, but rather by a
gubernatorially-appointed board, similar to other
licensing agencies now established by various
provisions of Article 56.
Article 66C, Sections 410A—410-I are proposed for
transfer to Article 25. These sections deal with
local recreational facilities, as opposed to
State park facilities. In other sections of this
bill, amendments to Articles 23A and 25A make
clear the continuing application of these
