1336                                        LAWS OF MARYLAND                            [Ch. 4

(E) POSSESSION OF GREEN FELT CUT OF SEASON PRIMA
FACIE EVIDENCE. - THE POSSESSION OF A GREEN PELT OR
PART OF IT BY ANY PERSON DURING CLOSED SEASON SHALL BE
PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE THAT THE PELT OR PART OF IT WAS

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) presently appears
as Article 66C, section 176 (i) of the Code.
New language is added making the act of
transporting and shipping illegal to
maintain consistency with the provision
that makes offering to do these acts
illegal. Even though "trap" is included
within the definition of "hunt" in section
10-101(j), the phrase "hunted or trapped"
is used throughout this subtitle to
emphasize to the Code user that trapping is
regulated by this subtitle.

Subsection (b) presently appears as Article
66C, section 176(o) of the Code.

The only other changes made are in style.
