(E)   AUTHORITY TO ACQUIRE AND MAINTAIN VESSELS
AND EQUIPMENT TO PERFORM FUNCTIONS.—THE DEPARTMENT
WAY OPERATE, SELL, BUY, LEASE, EXCHANGE, RENT, OR
REPAIR ANY VEHICLE, VESSEL, BOAT, NET, OR OTHER
EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR ITS WORK. IT MAY FURNISH A
VEHICLE, VESSEL, OR BOAT WHICH IT OWNS OR OPERATES,
WITH ANY REQUIRED ARMS, AMMUNITION, OR EQUIPMENT. THE
DEPARTMENT'S AUTHORITY UNDER THIS SUBSECTION IS
SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CODE RELATING TO
BUDGET AND PROCUREMENT.

(F)  , ADDITIONAL POWERS AND DUTIES.--IN ADDITION

TO POWERS AND DUTIES STATED IN THIS TITLE, THE
DEPARTMENT MAY EXERCISE AUTHORITY REASONABLY NECESSARY
TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF THIS TITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) is new language
derived from Article 66C, section 13(a) of
the Code. Subsection (b) presently appears
as Article 96A, section 6 of the Code, as
amended by Chapter 348, Acts of 1972. The
provisions of Article 96A, section 1 of the
Code, that are not duplicated by Article
96A, section 6 are added. Article 96A,
section 1 is proposed for deletion-
Subsection (c) is new language derived
from Article 66C, sections 6 (a), (b) and
12, as amended by Chapter 348, Acts of
1972.

Subsection (d) presently appears as Article
96A, section 7 of the Code.

Subsection (e) is new language derived from
Article 66C, section 13 (c) of the Code.

Subsection (f) presently appears as Article
96A, section 9 of the Code, as amended by
Chapter 348, Acts of 1972.

The only other changes made are in style.
