[(2)] (3) Upon gross receipts derived from the amounts charged for bowling
alleys or lanes;

[(3)] (4) Upon gross receipts derived from amounts charged for admission to
live boxing or wrestling matches.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 417
(Senate Bill 597)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8-105 of Article 93 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Decedents' Estates," subtitle "Creditors' Claims," to raise
the priority of costs and expenses of administration, and to re-letter all
subsections following subsection 8-105(a).

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 8-105 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Decedents'
Estates," subtitle "Creditors' Claims," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

8-105.

If the applicable assets of the estate are insufficient to pay all claims in full, the
personal representative shall make payment in the following order:

(a) Fees due to the register.

[(b) Funeral expenses as provided in § 8-106.]

(B)  COSTS AND EXPENSES OF ADMINISTRATION.

(C)  FUNERAL EXPENSES AS PROVIDED IN § 8-106.

[(c) Costs and expenses of administration, including compensation] (D)
COMPENSATION of personal representative as provided in § 7-601, for legal
services as provided in § 7-602, and commissions of licensed real estate brokers
and salesmen.

[(d)] (E) Family allowance as provided in § 3-201.
[(e)] (F) Taxes due by the decedent.

[(f)] (G) Reasonable medical, hospital and nursing expenses of the last illness of
the decedent.

[(g)] (H) Rent payable by the decedent for not more than three months in
arrears.
